Dr. Muhammad Amir Malik is a decorated technology statesman and recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan's highest civil honors, awarded for distinguished national contributions to information and communication technology. Across a career of nearly three decades, he has architected and led national-scale digital platforms serving more than 260 million citizens.
He currently serves as Member (International Coordination) at the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication, shaping Pakistan's global digital diplomacy, and as Member of NADRA, guiding one of the world's most advanced biometric identity ecosystems. His executive journey includes chief executive and board leadership of PRAL (FBR), COMSATS Internet Services, Clicksat-REDtone, Pak Datacom and the Pakistan Software Export Board, with senior regulatory mandates at PTA and Ufone (PTML).
Internationally, Dr. Malik has served with SAP AG in Germany and with Air France, Schlumberger and Alcatel CIT in France - bringing a genuinely global operating perspective to national institution building.
